These are the directions of our research and development work, not finished products.

• Navigation without GPS

  Visual-inertial (VIO) and LiDAR-inertial (LIO) odometry, SLAM, and combining these methods where the satellite signal is weak or absent.

• Flight in unconventional environments

  Flight indoors, in tunnels, close to structures and infrastructure.

• Multi-drone cooperation

  Coordinating several drones in one task: drone swarms for civil work such as joint inspection and mapping.

• Autonomy and flight control

  State estimation, sensor fusion and robust control, so that a drone can keep stable flight in difficult conditions.

• Simulation and test benches

  Software-in-the-loop (SITL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation, and planned flight test campaigns before algorithms are used in the field.
